NETGEAR - EX2700 N300 WiFi Wall Plug Range Extender and Signal Booster

I bought this to get internet out to a detached garage and was skeptical that it would work. For that low price, I was sure I would be taking it back. At first it appeared that my prediction would come true-----I could not get it to pick up a signal no matter where I placed it, except in the house, where we didn't need it. But I kept fiddling with it, trying it different places, and voila! It was amazing. By plugging it into an outlet in the garage that I had originally assumed was too far away and would never pick up the signal from our router it all worked, and worked beautifully. Our garage is easily 40 yards away and this little baby has no problem with the distance. It works both upstairs and down, and will be a great asset for company coming to visit. Great job!

Don't get a wifi signal in my kitchen (off & on). Bought this Netgear Range extender to solve that problem ! At first I could not get it to work, I could see Netgear on my phone for wifi settings, BUT it said NO INTERNET CONNECTION. I figured it out !! I had to call my cable company & get some Numbers to put in my PC for my router settings, I had to Check a box under ENABLE WPS . Once I did that it started working ! You may NOT have to do that, but if your not getting Internet connection after you set it up, that ENABLE WPS SETTING may be the problem. Your ROUTER & NETGEAR BOTH have a WPS button, but did NOT help in my case, I had to change my WPS setting on my Cable Company router to enable . The wifi extender works Great for those who don't get a strong signal in parts of your house, Now I get a full signal instead of half or less. Also you Just plug it in the wall anywhere which is Great and NOT have to run wires all over your house. I would Highly Recommend buying it if your having weak wifi problems . I paid $ 32 for it, works great . Why pay more ?
