I am currently making venison jerky. This unit is easy to use, compact, yet big enough for a nice size amount of food. So far my jerky looks amazing. The display alternates during the drying process. So, far no problems at all. There is a nice amount of heat coming from the machine, which seems pretty capable of drying goods quickly. I highly recommend this product.
