This is a big coffee making machine. If you got a big party or big gathering with a lot of coffee drinkers this is what you need. But remember this is going to make the coffee stronger than a drip coffee pot because some of the same water that's already been through the coffee goes through the basket again. When they say use 3 cups for grounds you should really use two. It brews the coffee pretty fast but be sure you give yourself enough time because at one cup a minute, 100 cups is over an hour and a half..
