nce you've completed Waverly Inspirations chalk acrylic paint projects, make sure you add a final finish with Waverly Inspirations antique wax sealer and protectant by plaid. The easy-to-use formula provides a durable, finish for furniture and more. For best results, use the Waverly Inspirations wax brush. Load with a small amount of wax and use a downward, circular motion to apply. Be sure to work the wax into a project's crevices and details. Allow the wax to dry for about 24 hours, then buff with a soft cloth. The more you buff, the glossier the sheen. Waverly Inspirations waxed and buffed surfaces will be fully dry in 7 days. Until then, keep the surface free from moisture and heavy use to allow enough time for the wax to fully dry.

I used the chalk paint as a base layer before using craft acrylic paint on top. I was using it on a smooth, manufactured wood product and it seems to have provided that grippy-base layer that I was looking for. The chalk paint had little noticeable smell. I was pleased.

Ocean chalk paint by Waverly
My mother and I love to craft. We always use Waverly chalk paint. The Waverly Inspirations Chalk Paint, Ultra Matte, Ocean is the most beautiful blue I have found in paint. We use the Waverly chalk paint to do the first coat on almost everything we paint. It covers exceptionally well and can be left as is or painted over with acrylic paint. The flow of the paint is perfect. Not thick but not thin. The pigment load leads to a vibrant color. I would not want to craft without Waverly!

The best chalk paint!
I use this jaw paint all the time and it has the best coverage! my only complaint is that I wish it came in largest sizes like a quart. I've tried other calk paints for my furniture and cabinets and always go back to this no matter how many little bottles it takes! it has the most amazing coverage.
