lots of storage room

We debated on buying the pedestals when getting our new washer & dryer, but I'm very glad we did. They are great for storing extra laundry room supplies. The only things that don't fit are gallon jugs of degreaser & vinegar - they are too tall. I don't have to bend way over to get the clothes out like with our old dryer, but they aren't too tall. I am 5'6'' and can still set baskets on top of the machines and reach them easily. I used to iron clothes on top of the old washer, but if I want to do that now, I need a stool.

Very nice looking Pedestal

Finally replace my LG dryer after 18 years of reliable service and I upgraded to a latger 9.0 cu ft dryer. Since I couldn't use my former 27 inch pedestal, I shopped for a 29 inch pedestal. I could only find the matching graphite steel pedestal for a reasonable price on the LG website. I could have purchased a black LG 29 inch pedestal, but that would look really funky. Install was really easy and I appreciate the slight design change in securing the dryer onto the pedestal. Glad I got the matching colors and looking towards another 18 years of reliable service!

Pain in the BACK no more!!

This is great to have if you are at least five feet tall. Without these pedestals, you will have a sore back from bending over to load and unload your front load washer and dryer. Not only does the pedestal raises the washer and dryer, it is also a great storage drawer. These pedestals really completes the already nice LG front load machines. Its a little bit on the expensive side but worth it to not have that sore back after you are done doing laundry.
