Increased prosperity in India is also boosting demand.Like champagne, Pure Basmati rice can only be grown and harvested in one place on Earth, at the foothills of the Himalayas. Store in a cool dry place.Cooking Tilda® Basmati:Everyone has their own preferred way of cooking basmati. This is our favorite.Allow ½ cup of uncooked rice per person with I cup of water for every ½ cup of dry rice that is used for cooking.1. For best results we recommend you soak the rice in cold water for 30 minutes, then rinse in a sieve with cold water.2. Take a large pot and mix together the cold water and basmati rice.3. Bring to a boil, reduce to a low heat, cover and simmer for 10-12 minutes until the water is absorbed. Avoid opening the lid or stirring the rice.4. Remove from heat and let stand covered for 5 minutes.5. Fluff the rice grains lightly with a fork before serving.

THE BEST RICE EVER!
My family love this rice this is all we cook. Even though on the package it says you should soak in water for 30 mins before cooking you don't have to. Just make sure you rinse your rice meaning pouring water on it and use you hand to stir it around and then drain that water off repeat steps until water start to become clear. I add salt and butter in water for taste. It's very white and shelly the rice doesn't stick together. This rice is also perfect for rice and beans. The best rice ever. I wish the price a bit cheaper but the taste of the rice is so good cant use any other. This rice goes well with any dish one of my fav. Is curry shrimps.

really wish Walmart would bring back the 20lb
this is the only rice I use ,was very happy getting the 20lb at Walmart for a while but not sure what happened seems they don't carry it any more I'm very disappointed

Excellent product and good value!
Excellent quality and taste, easy to make and goes well when almost everything . Even though price could seem high, at the end it is worth it as this bag of 40 lbs (18 kilos) goes a long way and is not easy to find it online!
