My Maggie, is an older German Shepherd. Over time, I had actually fed her Purina One, just like our other shepherd. Due to the fact that we also gave her meat from the table, and treats, she had gained weight as she slowed down with age, so we decided to do something that would help her drop some weight this summer.wewe decided to go with some. Wet food because she's older. And we trust purina, because it's a known thing name, and we've used it. So long it's supplemented with some extra dry protein about a 1/2 a cup. She eats this very wheel. She still gets dental treats and she is more active now than she was before. It also seems to be a little easier for her to move. Around.
