I recently purchased this Filtrete air purifier not knowing what to expect and hoping it would help with my seasonal allergies. After a few hours on high speed which sounds like a regular box fan on low, I can honestly say that this small air purifier has impressed me on how well it cleaned and improved the air quality in my small bedroom. Now noise wise as I mentioned earlier this unit has 3 speeds the loud setting sounds like a box fan and the two lower speeds the unit was so quiet that that I had to make sure it was on. Great investment made on my part to help me manage my allergies.
