So good!
These were so good. This was the first time I ever purchased mackerel. I had low expectations. It’s more tender than tuna and has nice flavor. I just used paper towels to soak up all the oil and put a little Himalayan salt. So yummy. Will buy again. I’ll try to think of some recipes for it, but it’s good out of the can too.

I've reviewed this specific brand and type of Mackerel prior to this purchase. I'm back to say the one thing that bugged me before was their covering. It was like a decorative thick aluminum foil, that periodically got punctured out smooshed. THIS ORDER I am pleased to say came with aluminum lids, like most other brands of mackerel and sardines. I like the improvement. Thank you, King Oscar for making this change.

Loving It!
As a child, I ate fresh mackerel which my father caught. I have tried other canned mackerel but this is now my favorite. I love the texture, taste and protein, but the price is high, and I won't be getting it as often as I'd like, but it is now my go to for mackerel.
