Walnut Hollow Basswood Rounds - Thick

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Via pickup order, this thick wood slice arrived in excellent condition, smooth without any need for sandpaper. For long term use, I preserved the bark by applying Artresin with a silicone detail brush to preserve the natural roughness of back without embedding. A light layer of resin brushed on top and bottom, and I now have a tree slice sealed for the years. The slice I received is a within the size description with the width near maximum and the length slightly shorter thank max range. It's a lovely natural slice. - I'm using it as the base to support the focus of a chihuahua's memorial. Oh how he loves the trees.
