There are times that there are more sticks and debri than necessary, but some sticks are played with by the birds and actually eaten similar to eating a peanut shell. Just because we think it is debri, doesn't mean it is to the birds. Likely there is a lot of nutrients in some of that. Not everyone feeds birds like we do and they are still around ? I personally enjoy feeding the birds, squirrels too. Overall, the seed is clean and there packing and shipping is excellent. Some of the bags even have handles on it, 25 pound bags. Their prices though go up and down, this I don't care for, but they are still very competitive and this particular bag I got a really good deal I thought. You do have to keep your eye out for sales and the shipping is free with conditions from the retailer, but not everyone offers free shipping and look at the cost. Wagner does not do that. So even with a competitive price, he ships for free. Think about that. Most don't see the inside matter because they don't sell to the public. I have two stores. Shipping really hurts a seller's bottom line and while I wish I could do it to all my orders, one store has it but the other doesn't. Prices need to reflect that difference and I don't always include it in my cost. I consider myself a very generous seller. I tow the line though.
