I have recently recieved the "WOD CFT-15 Black Industrial and Electrical Harness Wiring Friction Tape - 3/4 in. x 60 ft. Heat Proof Engine Compartment Wiring Tape" from the sparks program. This tape is used for auto wiring or any electrical wiring where needed. It is heat proof and can withstand really hot temperatures and the outside elements to an extent. It wasn't really sticky or adhesive when I tried it out, meaning after some time it might not hold as well as you might need it to. After getting wet or hot and cold for quite awhile it might not hold up after several years. I could be wrong but that is just my opinion on this tape. It feels like it might not hold up as well as other tapes out there. Electrical tape has more adhesive than this tape. It also has a weird, strong odor on the tape. It is slightly flexible but doesn't flex much. The tape I received is actually an inch and a half wide. It can also tear easily where you want it, so if you have your hands dirty it wont take much to get what you need. Less struggling is always better when working on a car. I would probably recommend this product to others, it's decent enough and seems to do what I need it to.
