I followed the instructions perfectly. Unfortunately, the design is horrible. Every single drawer is crooked and tilted. Whoever designed a Layout made a mistake on how they pre-drilled each hole for the drawers. Also, the smell of paint is so strong that we haven't been able to let our child sleep in her room due to the smell for the last three days. We did put clothes inside her drawers of course the following day they smelled like paint as well. I would not recommend purchasing this dresser.
