This leash is very strong and durable which is good enough for my tough 30 lb Australian Shepard. He always chews through his leashes, but not this one since its metal. The leash is not too light and has a nice weight and feel to it. The gold leash makes him look like a King in the park. Overall, it's a good lead, and easy enough to use for any type of dog if it can handle my dog. If you are a person that wants a strong, nice-looking leash, this is the one for you.
