When I first received them the sole of the shoe looked harder than I am accustomed to (like a Birkenstock) and I was afraid it would hurt my feet for long wear (like a Birkenstock). NOT AT ALL!! These are so comfortable, even a long work day! And the knit top holds up very well. The only downside, they sure "flip flop" when walking down a hallway at work, so if you need an ultra quiet zone note that this does do that!

These are super comfy but run big. I had to exchange for a 1/2 size smaller than I usually get in Vionic. Love the color and they fit nicely. My only complaint is that they make the noise of a flip flop as you walk, slapping the bottom of your foot. But my foot doesn't slide out and they are good for walking.
