Instructions
Stove Top Instructions: In a large saucepan with tight fitting lid, bring 1-1/4 cups (10 oz.) of water to a boil. Add 2 Tbsp. of olive oil or butter (optional), then one package Vigo Yellow Rice, stirring while boiling for one minute. Cover saucepan tightly. Reduce heat to simmer, cook for 20-25 minutes. Serve.

I have loved this since I first tried it years ago. The seasoning is perfect. I add a pinch of saffron but that's me. I love extra saffron. One 5 ounce pack for two people. Follow the directions and it's perfect every time. I often use it for recipes that call for plain rice.

Vigo yellow rice is the absolute best tasting mouthwatering to the pallet of yellow rices. For the money it's the best value I found at Walmart, the overall content weight size amount after cooked is Right on time. Vigo makes the softest ( not chewy), gizzards %26 rice you'll ever encounter

Yellow rice
This brand has consistently made good and convenient yellow rice for years. I've been buying them for as long as I can remember, and the small bags fit easily into my 2 cup rice cooker. I also add a smidge of olive oil and a diced clove of garlic and it is always fluffy and delicious. The amount of seasoning in every bag is perfect. I have had people say they mix a can of rotel with the larger bag when they cook, and it does sound tasty but I have not tried it. The yellow rice is good as a side or even in tacos or burritos. Just buy some!
