Item came as described. The step by step installation instruction is a little confusion but the item extremely easy to assemble. You don't need the manual if you've seen the picture and have installed an ikea furniture in the past. There's one piece of detail missing which is; the manufacturers did not factor in a place to run power cords through. i found it out after i had mounted the piece on the wall. i had to use my power drill to make my own holes which was frustrating and messy. I'm sure i could have found a similar product within the price range that will not require me to drill holes. It is very unlikely that I'll buy this again and will recommend to it friends or family.

The price point was reasonable and the "look" in the ad was good. Overall the materials used in construction were ok. There is no way to bring cables to the top of the console so I did drill two holes and fill them with computer table inserts. I also drilled one in the upright that separates the right and left compartments so that cables could be routed easily back and forth. The track that mounts the unit to the wall was about 1/2" too short and WAY TOO THIN for that purpose. I used extra anchors to be sure it didn't flex and drop the unit. The led lights supplied were obviously not intended for this unit as the cabling is about 3 times as long as it needs to be leaving one to figure out where to hide it. The two led units come with 2 screws each...MICRO SCREWS...luckily I had a drill bit small enough to drill pilot holes, and a micro screwdriver set to screw them in as the unit did not have pre-drilled holes for them. The instructions were typically vague but usable and the unit functions well for our needs. My regret is that it took so much time to "customize" for my use. If you're handy this is a fair choice.
