Perfect!
I have a Chinese crested - she was the runt and is a bit on the shorter side but longer than most dogs her size (she isn't short in length like a Chihuahua or other small breeds so this carrier fits mine PERFECT as the carrier itself is short but long. The bottom of the inside is a removable firm piece for easy cleaning and fluffy on the top for comfort. This carrier works better for me than my last because this one has a leash attached on the inside so she doesn't sveam out the head hole. I have no issues with this carrier.

Lots of room
This carrier is great, it looks like a regular bag that a man or lady could carry. There is a wide floor bottom to the bag so your pet can sit, stand, and even lay down. It's wide enough for both of my puppies. The inside is washable. There is an attachment collar chain to secure your pet. Wide straps for coverage while carrying your pets. Outside pockets for all of my stuff.
