It's hard to pick a dog bed without seeing it but we lucked out on this one. I have a 50 lb dog and this bed is more than big enough. It has 4 inches of shredded foam inside and feels firm. My dog loves it and the price was well below what I'd expect to pay at the major pet supply chains.

I don't understand the bad reviews! Yes it's not a single foam pad inside and it is shreds, BUT it's nice and full and stays that way! My dogs compete to see which one can claim it first over the couch! One is a pit that didn't have such a good beginning in her life and suffered massive bodily damages…older age now and she aches. She absolutely loves this bed….she highly recommends!
