Very sturdy, and much larger than the one it replaced. I don't like claw foot tubs, but this shower rod definitely makes it more tolerable.

Install good and sturdy!
Works! And feels sturdy. Follow directions carefully! Very clear, but I did mess it up. Thankful for my DIY skills, made it work. Different configuration than designed, but made it work. I would recommend and looked all over for a reasonably priced shower curtain for claw foot tub. Looks nice too.
