DEWALT Stud Finder Electronic - LED Display, Manual Power, Yellow - 1 Piece

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nowadays we expect things to work and then it comes down to reliability and design. I really like the design of this stud finder. The slim design means it slides easily in my toolbox/bag and the switch doesn't get pressed, unlike some others. The tool finds the center of the stud really well, which is a useful feature over the standard way of finding each edge. Arrows indicate the start of the edge and then the center. A/C detection worked well in each case I tried Changing the batteries is an easy flip up of the cover, no tools required - just the two AAAs. Overall I think this is an excellent stud finder, recommended.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed to give a wall a clean cut via the stud. I used the Dewalt stud finder to start my cut, and I was amazed with the accuracy of this tool. It always found the center of the stud effortlessly. The tool will indicate if it needs to be moved to the left or right to find the center. Once the center is reached you will hear a audible alert. It also warns you if there's live wires in the wall. This tool is not bulky but easy to use and the features are awesome. Improving productivity which is always a plus for me.
