Fast & Easy!

I had to upgrade my outdated 8 year old router. I was always hesitant in doing it earlier because of how difficult the setup was going to be. I'm not technically saavy but can read instructions well... That being said, this router is E-A-S-Y. It literally took 10 minutes. My laptop picked up the IP address immediately and it did it on it's own. Note that you have to use the default ID & password intially. After your setup, then you can customize using the Genie. My speed literally doubled (remember I'm replacing an 8 year old router). By the way, can you CHEAP? The price on this unbelievable. Very very pleased with it.

Love It

Performs as expected, easy setup, nice administration software (NETGEAR Genie) lets user setup access . . . wireless user/password, control channel assignment (auto or manual). Felt experienced the first time I used it. Don't pay extra for function in a router you can't use ie. gigabit ports and 802.11AC when your ISP connection service can't take advantage of it. If your fastest service available isn't in the gigabit range you're overspending for that top end router. My Charter ISP service is 100 m/s, the fastest available, so a router with anything above 100 Ethernet ports and 802.11N is useless overspending.

Great Router

This router works just fine for our single story 3 bedroom house. It's weak in the driveway just outside the house and in the backyard. Our previous Att router was much stronger so I probably should have gone with the next level up. But nevertheless it's a great product and very easy to install.
