Ultraviolet Ice Melt, Extreme Power, 50 lb Bag

This patch of ice was in front of our office building.  It was approximately two inches thick.  The first check was at two hours and it had started to pit the ice.  By hour five it had gone completely through the ice and started to dry the ground.  I like that the salt starts out purple and then starts to react and turns white.  Especially around the business and our sidewalks I like that it is pet friendly and would be less harmful if anyone accidentally came in contact with it.

I used this product on the parking lot of our office to help prevent ice accumulation and to keep people safe when walking to and from the building. I was very impressed with how well it worked to keep the ice from freezing. It also helped provide traction when walking on the wet surfaces where the ice was melted.
