I was familiar with this particular track design which is easy to assemble. The track is flexible and can be configured however you want. This track came with several challenges to include a hill, some rib cage catches as well as other accessories to set the Jurassic mood. The set came with two vehicles so you could have pursuits around the track. This is something your kids will spend hours playing with and I definitely recommend it.

I bought this for my 5 yo grand-son. He loved it! The coolest part for him is that the "ribs" try to catch the cars when they go through. I loved the fact that, even when assembled, the track is flexible and can be moved into different shapes. Also, we found that you can put objects like the plastic logs that come with the set under the track and create a little hill for the cars to go over. The only downside is that they seem to use up batteries fast. I have rechargeable batteries, but I wouldn't want to have to buy standard ones for it. That said, the cars will still roll by hand if needed.
