Beautiful, large, and luscious Hibiscus plant

I bought this hibiscus to keep as an indoor plant. It arrived well packaged and was beautiful, large, and luscious. Some leaves were yellow, but I thought that was to be expected after such a journey. I removed them. I have not repotted but dropped the plastic pot as is in a decorative planter hung in a high ceiling stairwell with direct sunlight. It seems to still be getting used to its new home, and I am not sure if it likes it in that hallway indoors. I may need to plant it outdoors. I accidentally over watered it, so be careful of that if you plan to keep it indoors.
