While the price was higher than I liked, the shelf is a quality product that I could easily affix to my 1/4 inch pegboard that lines the shop wall. The shelf attaches with a special screw with very wide and separated threads that penetrate the pegboard without damaging it. The supplied screws are meant to penetrate air space behind the pegboard, but you could use regular screws if location meant using a hole without posterior air space. Using the supplied special screws, the shelf can be readily relocated as you adjust whatever you display. This is ideal for many objects that you want to grab but do not hang on hooks, e.g., tape measures, markers, cups of driver bits, and other items that you regularly use. The quality makes this an easy decision over some of the cheap plastic display shelves that have no durability.
