Tramontina 16 Quart Stainless Steel Covered Stock Pot

I bought the 22oz Soup Pot so I can make large batches of soup to give as get-well gifts and to freeze. The 22oz was large enough to fit a turkey carcass to make broth. The instructions said to use low-medium heat. I was impressed that the broth came to a simmer on medium-low heat quicker than expected and the soup stayed warm for a good hour after I turned the gas burner off. The triple bottom is the secret. Excellent quality. I washed by hand before I used it for the first time and I wash by hand after every use. The Pot comes with a Life Time Warranty but there are a few things that 'could' void the warranty such as cooking on high heat. Please read the instructions and the warranty BEFORE use. Honestly, this 22oz pot heated up quickly with my burner on 4 (low-medium). Very impressed. I highly recommend .

Nice heavy duty pot! Easy to clean! We live in the southwest and our family has large gatherings! It's perfect for making Chile beans, Pasole (menudo), or stews! I also have the same brand in a smaller quart size I would use and love but had to upgrade to a bigger pot! The family is growing!!
