Im an illustrator from Venezuela based in Barcelona. Ive been working as a surface print designer for the last 5 years. Alongside Ive been developing my own brand: CAYENA BLANCA. Growing up in Venezuela made me curious and a nature lover. My inspirations come in all sort of ways, but the memories of my childhood and my home country are constant elements present in most of my work. Giclee (jee-clay) is an advanced printmaking process for creating high quality fine art reproductions. The attainable excellence that Giclee printmaking affords makes the reproduction virtually indistinguishable from the original piece. Gallery wrap is a method of stretching an artist's canvas so that the canvas wraps around the sides and is secured a hidden, wooden frame. This method of stretching and preparing a canvas allows for a frameless presentation of the finished painting.
