This is my second purchase of this litter box. My 8 y/o Russian Blue will not use a closed box w door. This one works. Now I have two as he's very fickle about cleanliness. Although I prefer a closed box this one looks good and works well. The scoop is useless as I use flushable litter.

We've had one of these exact same oval, shielded Iris litter pans for a few years and love it because it minimizes scattered litter and sprayed mess, and doesn't tip over when one of our kitties insists on sitting on its low lip edge while using it. So we bought a second one to use in another location, but unfortunately it's arrived looking clearly used with litter dust adhered in a circle all around inside the shield and some in the pan, so it will be returned. We'll try ordering another one if it's still on sale.
