Easy Prep:1. Place unopened bag in microwave, evenly distribute potatoes, and microwave on high for 10 minutes.2. Let stand for 2 minutes. Using oven mitts, remove carefully, using both hands to grasp bag at top corners.3. Cut top of bag along dotted line to open, and pour potatoes into large bowl.Caution: Contents will be hot!4. How to prepare: For mashed potatoes: Lightly add in 2/3 cup of milk and 2 tbsp, of butter then mash to desired smoothness.Prep without using the bag:Full bag:1. Pour contents of bag into a large microwave-safe bowl, add 1/3 cup of water.2. Cover and microwave on high for 12 minutes, stirring halfway through.3. Let stand for 2 minutes. Add 1/3 cup milk and 2 tbsp. butter, then mash to desired smoothness and season to taste.1/2 Bag:1. Pour 1/2 contents (2-1/2 cups of bag into a medium microwave-safe bowl.2. Cover and microwave on high for 6 minutes, stirring halfway through.3. Let stand for 2 minutes. Add 1/3 cup milk and 1 tbsp. butter, then mash to desired smoothness and season to taste.Keep frozen. Homemade cream potatoes without the wotk
Best cream potatoes. After you microwave for 10 minutes add some water to your bowl to put some moisture back in the potatoes. Then add salt. Pepper . Carnation milk and butter. Mix in your mixer but do not over mix or your potatoes will be too stiff. Place in serving bowl and top with a couple of oats of butter and let melt on the top and serve.
