McCormick Kosher Onion Powder, 4.5 oz Bottle

I'm one of those people who rarely uses fresh onions in my recipes. I know that can be off-putting to some, but I'm sensitive to cutting onions as well as hardly using them in my recipes. My favorite way to substitute the onion flavor is using McCormick's Onion Powder. I don't feel like the physical onions are missed, and there's still the pop of flavor.

McCormick has always been my go to spice maker. And it just seems that every year they get better at what they do. When I just want the flavor of onions and not the actual pieces, this is my go to option. There will be times when you want real onion pieces like in chili however, often I just want a little of that flavor but without the mess of peeling an onion and chopping it up. This is the perfect replacement. The robust flavor of onions without the extra work. I like when I can save an little bit of time. McCormick recommends using 1 tablespoon in place of 1/2 cup of fresh chopped onions. Trust me, when you try it you'll be surprised that you can taste the flavor you wanted.
