VIZIO 36" 2.1 Channel Sound Bar System (SB362An-F6)

I was skeptical about purchasing this soundbar from Walmart because I thought that a soundbar at this price would not make any significant difference in the sound quality of the tv, BUT, boy was I wrong, taking my room acoustics into account, this unit has single handedly changed my whole perspective about how much a soundbar can actually change the whole tv viewing experience. First of all this unit has tweeters for production of high frequency sound, drivers for production of mid frequency sound and dual-built in subwoofers for production of low frequency sound, but at this price point I thought the sound would be 'tinny' at best, however the sound quality and difference blew me away. Room size and speaker placement also plays a major role in accurate sound reproduction, I understand this, and in this case, I scored big time. I used the optical cable to connect between my tv(Vizio as well) and the unit. It has bluetooth as well, but ,according to the owners manual, the optical connector would provide the best sound performance, and boy did it ever. It's safe to say that for what I expected, this unit easily surpassed. I didn't want the units that had an external subwoofer, because I didn't want the extra speaker taking up space, as I already have a separate stereo unit in the room. This unit was just right...nice price, quality sound reproduction combined with a small compact unit, so for me...VIZIO NAILED THIS ONE JUST RIGHT!
