Best chisels if ever owned

These chisels are very nice. Far superior to Narex brand. The steel holds an edge for a long time. Highly recommend this set. Use lacquer thinner to remove laqcuer on chisel and use 120grit to sand lacquer off handles. The coat handles in BLO. Sharpen chisels and your all set. Verified Purchase

High quality chisels at a fair price

Chisels were "assembled in England from international components" but are exceptional quality. The blades do require a very modest amount of honing to flatten their back and to bring the cutting edge to proper sharpness. They are well balanced and fell good in my hands. The steel will take an excellent edge and will hold that sharpness for a long time, even in use on very hard wood. These are equal in quality to chisels costing 50% more.

Great chisels for the price

I've been using these chisels for a number of years now and they are holding up great. After some initial flattening and sharpening, these chisels hold an edge very well and have been a pleasure to use. I wouldn't hesitate in recommended these to anyone.
