I bought one of these house coats for my 92 year old mother a couple of years ago. I was concerned that it was too heavy (weighed too much) for her but she loved it. It is very warm and soft. It was time to order her another as the original had some snags and was faded from so many washes. The new one is a darker blue but she really loves it. Great purchase but a little heavy.

I was looking for a well-made terry cloth robe. Description said it was a classic Turkish cotton robe with a shawl collar. Exactly like my old one which needed to be replaced. My old one had lasted about 20 years and it had been bought at a major department store. Looking at the picture, reading the description and the reviews I was pretty certain it would be the same quality as my old robe. I had also recently read that Walmart was going to be bringing in better quality merchandise. Also, the fact that it was made in Turkey and not China sealed the deal for me. Once I received it, I was pleased to see my instinct was not wrong. This robe is very well made, sleeves are the correct length and I have better coverage with it than compared with my old robe. Nice weight to the fabric but not too heavy. I would not hesitate to recommend this robe to anyone who is looking for a well-made terry robe. Very pleased with my purchase.
