I bought my husband similar shirts which have the same layout but in extraordinary shades due to the fact that he is tall and properly built. He is not thin or obese hes simply tall.

Average builder with a chest measurement of 38 to 40. I bought the large model and it is a little loose exactly as I imagined. I imagine a medium would have worked well but also would have been adjusted.
