I dislike the fact that the front and rear brakes was not adjusted and ready to ride. in front wheel was warped. took it to a local bicycle shop for repairs total cost for $60 for that

I purchased my 26” Titan Pioneer Mountain Bike in September of 2016, and I am posting my ‘1 Star' rating in November, after a couple of months of ownership. I purchased the bike instead of fixing-up my old mountain-bike, and I selected it from the internet, because it was beautiful. The first thing that I noticed, upon arrival, was that the Titan is not built as rugged as my old bike. but I decided to ‘live with that'. After I had ridden it for a couple of days, I became aware of a ‘clicking' sound, which I couldn't locate, and I didn't ‘feel' very stable when riding. About 3 weeks later, while riding at night, the chain came loose. Also, I could see that the plastic chain-guard had broken off. The bike was unrideable. After I got home, I observed that the pedal-assembly was really sloppy - with what I would call a ‘wobble' at the crank housing. I called the technical support, as instructed by the written directions, and the technician told me how to tighten the crank-nut, using a hammer and screwdriver. He also sent me a new chain-guard. After getting the bike back on the road, the stability-problem was even greater, and I had to retighten the crank-nut every couple of rides (8 mile rides). Also, the chain would hop off of the largest sprocket and would either catch on the chain-guard, or hop over it. So I can now only use the smaller front sprocket. Then I made a close-up inspection of the pedal/crank mechanism. It is obviously misaligned (off by about 15 degrees from perpendicular), as compared with the crank assembly housing. I assume that this misalignment happened as a result of the 'breakdown' on the road. The result of the misalignment is that the pedals and the sprocket assembly are also misaligned. From researching online, it has become clear that the entire crank assembly needs to be replaced. And even if I spent the money to do that, I still might need to replace the sprocket assembly, because it may have gotten bent in the initial failure. I haven't decided what to do next, but I will advise you that my experiences with this bike have been poor. That beautiful yellow bike has turned to a beautiful piece of junk.
