I use to wear canvas shoes like these all the time however the canvas was soft. I had no idea how hard the canvas was and it is hard. Not what I expected or have experienced from previously purchasing them. I rated them higher, but I do wish it had something in the description about the canvas being hard and not the soft canvas I am use to.
