It is good for both beginners and experts. Their online support is super quick and very helpful if you have issues with your project. They also provide videos for common issues that may occur, so you don't have to worry if a snag comes up in your work. I highly recommend any of their kits. I will say, however, if you are a total beginner, I would stick to their animal kits with more limited colors, as their human character kits and super colorful ones with multiple color changes can be a bit more difficult for newer crocheters.
