The Protege 4 Piece Luggage Set

Protege is the only brand I buy now for luggage. I just bought one of their weekender bags and I just love it. I got back from a long trip and it still looks good as new. So now I’m back for luggage for the whole family. First of all, I love the fact that this comes with a duffel bag on wheels because that is what my husband always likes to use. I will be using the large roller bag for all my clothes and the smallest bag for my accessories. this will hold all my toiletries make up small items. The smaller roller bag will be for our daughter. Perfect set. The quality of these is what sold me. The last couple sets we’ve purchased just felt lightweight and cheap. The irony is that we spent more on them than this set. We got them in black which I know just makes them blend in with everyone else’s but it keeps me from fretting over them looking dirty. I will put a bright colored ribbon on each one since we will be checking three of these. I think they roll really smoothly and the telescoping handle feels secure. The last set that I had it rattled inside there and felt like it was going to break right away. These have in-line skate wheels, which I find to be much quieter than other options. They spin quickly in whatever direction you want to go. I forgot to mention that the smallest bag has that loop that you can use it on your rolling bags. It can slide over the telescoping handle so you don’t have to carry the bag it’s up but it does have a shoulder strap if you prefer that. The largest suitcase is 25 inches. The upright rolling bag in the smaller size is 19 inches and the rolling duffel is 22 inches which holds a ton. I forgot to mention that the two big suitcases have a mesh pocket on the inside of the cover. Love this feature. Overall, I am super pleased with the set Protégé never disappoints.

A 24-piece set including a 25” spinner (4 wheels), a 19” 2-wheeler, a 22” rolling duffle bag with 2 wheels and a small boarding bag with a shoulder strap and a strap to secure it on a luggage handle. I’m a frequent flyer domestically as well as internationally and know a thing or two about luggage. The 25” bag is expandable, something that really comes handy at times, and weighs 8 lbs with a sturdy telescopic handle and easy-to-use zippers. It seems to be constructed with pretty durable material. The 19” bag is almost 6lbs and not expendable but its handle is pretty long, adjustable to two different lengths. The bags have two zipper pockets on the top. The duffle bag is 22” but it would easily fit into overhead bins in the plane. Multiple zippers make it quite useful. It has two wheels that make it easy to carry around but it can’t stand up on its own and is slightly heavier because of wheels and the telescopic handle. The luggage set is all black and the quality seems to be pretty decent.
