They are so much nicer than they look in the box. Some of the plates are actually tinted like a pinkish color. They are so strong and sturdy. I buy everything Pioneer Woman for my kitchen. This was my 2nd set of dishes of had bought. I had my other set for about 4 yrs and they were and still are perfect. I just wanted something new. I passed them down to my daughter so that she has a nice set of dishes also!!
