  • USE & CARE Hand wash thoroughly in hot water using a mild soap or detergent & non-abrasive sponge. Rinse in clean, hot water & towel dry immediately to prevent blades from corrosion. Automatic dishwashers are not recommended as the heat & detergent can damage or stain the blades. The blades of The Pioneer Woman® knives in this set are made from specially formulated, high-alloy steel designed for strength, durability & precision cutting. Although this is premium steel, it can still develop stains if not properly cared for. Do not allow the cutlery to soak in water & do not allow acidic or salty foods & liquids to sit on the blades after use. Allowing these types of substances to sit on the blades can cause staining. Should the blades show signs of staining, use a non-abrasive metal polish to remove the stains. MAINTENANCE These knives are precision ground with razor-sharp edges. It will require periodic maintenance to retain the fine edges. We recommend using a sharpening steel between each use. Professional sharpening should only be done if the knife edges cannot be brought back to a sharp state with a sharpening steel. CAUTION This cutlery is extremely sharp. Use extreme caution when handling to prevent injury. Never use these knives for tasks other than cutting foods & preparing ingredients. Never handle cutlery by the blade. Be sure to keep sharp edges & points away from you when laying cutlery down. Never attempt to catch falling cutlery. Keep all cutlery away from children. If used & cared for properly, these knives will provide superb use for many years.

Amazing kitchen knives

I love this set of knives. I love cooking different types of dishes, so the kitchen is my favorite place in the house. When the knives came in, I was blown away by the beautiful floral decoration each piece had. They are sharp and elegant. They cut really well, including hard meat and vegetables.

Lovely knives, but a bit high maintenance

This is a lovely knife block set. The wooden block itself has some beautiful floral art on it, and the knives all have matching floral art on the handles. It looks so pretty on my counter. The knives are handwash only though, no dishwasher, and you will have to dry them immediately after washing. They may rust. I have been handwashing mine and drying them immediately and they are doing great, no rust and the floral art still looks perfect! But if you're someone who doesn't care for handwashing you may want to skip this set. I don't mind it at all, they're such pretty knives and I want to keep them looking good for a long time. Quality-wise I'd say they were average - not cheap but I would not exactly say they were high-quality either. The blades are nice and sharp! We love them!

Beautiful/Sharp Hand wash only and dry thoroughly

Beautiful design on handle. Woodblock looks good in my country kitchen. I have a lot of Pioneer Woman Kitchen things (pots and pans, dishes, plastic bowls with lids, plastic bowls without lids, casserole dishes, Utensils, large soup kettle, etc…) Knives are sharp and good quality, it is my second set- I didn’t heed the warning, on the box, and I put them in the dishwasher- they rusted. So, I ordered another set and I will not be putting them in the dishwasher - hand wash only and dry thoroughly!
