The Pioneer Woman Multi-Color Mazie Medallion Cotton Full/Queen Quilt

This Pioneer Woman Mazie Medallion Quilt is a great fit for my queen size bed. It is the full queen size, and it's perfect For either one. The quilt Is reversible and the reverse side is just as beautiful. The reverse is tiny flowers on a white background, Pioneer Woman style of course! This isn't a thick quilt. That is what I like most about it. I don't like heavy quilting especially in these season changes of warm weather. The front side is a beautiful maze medallion floral style… signature design of her products. The quilt is machine washable in cool water. Tumble dry low. I washed it as soon as it got here, and it washed and dried well. It came out with no wrinkles just like it should. The pillow shams are trimmed in a blue colored lace. I love it because the reverse side is just as pretty as the front. The material feels soft yet substantial. Just need to get some other colors of sheets to match and I'll be all set.

I would give this spring/summer bed quilt 10 stars if the ratings went that high. The quilt arrived in a thick cardboard box. The quilt was further protected by being packed inside a very thick plastic bag too. The moment I removed the quilt from its bag, I started to grin. My grin got even bigger when I spread it on my queen-sized mattress. Because my mattress is a Temperpedic, (extra deep & long) I was nervous this full/queen sized quilt might not fit well. I was wrong. It is generous sized and looks perfect on my bed. I was going to give this Pioneer Woman spread to my granddaughter for her new bed. Sadly, that ain't happenin' now, as grandma is keeping it for herself. When the winter snows arrive, I will make this quilt the 'coverlet' to my feather quilt, so I can enjoy it year round. I promise you, this is a great product, very 'typical' of Pioneer Woman products: top quality material, attractive design (both sides as it is reversible), well-made. Once I'm snuggled in bed, the quilt has just enough 'weight' to keep me feeling 'protected', but not enough to make me feel smothered. Honestly, whenever I order a Pioneer Woman product I await its arrival with anticipation because I know I'm going to be delighted -- and I always am. When I pass by my bedroom now, I am pleased with the view, as silly as that may sound. If Pioneer Woman had a 'factory store' near me, I'd be there often (just like I am with the IKEA store). Trust this grandma! Anyone you buy this for will be delighted at your gift, even if the recipient is yourself.
