Large capacity, attractive, and EASY TO FILL!

I LOVE this! About 1970-ish, my husband and I went shopping to supply our first home, and we bought a Walmart Mainstays bathroom set: cup, toothbrush holder, and soap dispenser. I liked the soap dispenser because I could lift the entire top off to pour in more soap. But when I wanted tor redecorate, I found that ALL of the soap dispensers had the top part securely attached, and the only way to refill it was by unscrewing the pump top and poring into that small neck. I went back to my old one and have been using it ever since. Yesterday morning, right after filling it, I knocked it onto the floor. It landed on a plush rug, but still - fifty-year-old plastic, what would you expect? It didn't break apart, but got a wide crack most of the way around. I I was expecting an In-Home delivery that day, and had almost an hour to find a soap dispenser I liked and add it to the cart. I chose this. I didn't expect the top to lift off like my old one...but it does! the upper part of the dispenser lifts right off, you can lean the pump against the inside wall while you POUR, not dribble, more soap into the body. Five seconds with absolutely no mess, versus up to a minute plus cleanup, going through the pump hole. AND it holds about three times as much as my old one! Downside (nothing's perfect): the pump does tend to wobble. I find that if I place my palm firmly on it and press down evenly, it's not a problem. It's going go take some getting used to: I've been pressing with my thumb for decades. But I'm not too old to adapt.

Previously bought a set of and they had markings for water and liquid soap to mix for the foaming soap. The new set has no markings for the soap and water anymore and one dispenser in the set doesn't foam the soap, only get the watered down soap. I think the quality has gone down, probably to save money.

Looks nice. I'm using it for bathroom soap but you have to pump it several times to get a decent amount of soap to wash your hands
