The Children's Place Boys Long Sleeve Zip-Up Puffer Winter Jacket, Sizes XS-XXL

My son is 11yo, almost 5'2”, and about 125 Lbs and I bought him this in a Burgundy, size XXL (16) and it fit EXACTLY as needed. The sleeves reach exactly at his wrists and it zips up with enough room for one of my arms to fit into the coat as well. He is a 30” waist so at first glance I was concerned it wouldn't close but I realized it's just “puffy” of course. We leave for school early morning in about 50-55 degree weather and my son says he doesn't feel cold at all (he only wears his tank top and long sleeve school pique polo underneath) and that tells me a lot! It is very lightweight and at first I also didn't believe it would be water resistant but his first day wearing it we got hit with a huge rainstorm and thankfully he didn't soak through. He loves the “fancy” look it gives off without the hoodie, it's his uniform color, and it has elastic cuffs to help keep the cold out. I'm very impressed, I'm normally a sherpa girl but this coat definitely exceeded my expectations, I bought it after my son outgrew his heavy winter puffer and I felt something lighter would be more appealing to him. He told me he actually received a lot of compliments at school so, in my opinion, it was a huge success :D I guess wearing a coat and NOT catching pneumonia is STILL cool after all lol Overall, tremendous quality and value for what I paid. 5+++ stars!
