I have had my gloves for at least 4-5 years. We gave a set to our children at Christmas and to my immediate family this past weekend I got a new pair for myself. They do eventually wear out in the thumb. They fit either hand, so, all I had to do was wear it on the hand with the worn out thumb on the top. We use them for grilling and taking pans out of the oven. A definite must. We all love them!!
