Great Value and Excellent Performer

I bought this tent exclusively for a bikepacking trip. The tent performed perfectly, is lightweight and packs very easily. The compact size at 15" long is ideal for backpacking of bikepacking and the storage bags is great. The rain fly installs in seconds and has 2 exhaust ports. The tent includes all need cable tie-downs, and yard spikes and the interior has pockets and zip points for hanging clothes. The zippers work surprisingly well; smooth action and don't catch. A great value for the price.

Great budget tent

Setup was a breeze and lightweight considering the price point. Replace the stakes and it's a 3 lbs. tent. Looking forward to spending more time in it to see how well it holds up and performs under tougher conditions but for one weekend in nice weather it performed well.

Poor man's lucky find

This tent was only $42 (regular price). You just stake out the rectangular base, x the aluminum poles, plug em into the stake grommets, and clip roof to poles. Then toss on the fly, which has impressive coverage, including roomy vestibules. It's not as solid as a much more expensive backpacker's tent, but it's not flimsy, either. It should last a casual summer of camping. I set it up in Yellowstone on a September night when it *dumped* rain for a good 15' and then drizzled the rest of the night. No leaks inside. A sunny day dried it quickly. It is small. But also light. Going backpacking with it soon. Fingers crossed!
