Tapatio Tinga de Pollo Chipotle Adobe Cooking Sauce is a favorite family recipe. We blend, season and cook our sauce using ingredients while they are their most flavorful. This ready-to-use Tapatio Tinga de Pollo cooking sauce turns pre-cooked chicken into an authentic Mexican feast. Simmer with pre-cooked shredded chicken for 10 minutes or you can use raw chicken in a slow cooker. When done, shred and enjoy on tacos, burritos or just by itself. With our new convenient bottle you can reseal what cooking sauce you don't use to enjoy later.

Instructions
Shake sauce well before use. To Make 6 Servings You Will Need: 3/4 cup of Tapatio Tinga De Pollo Cooking Sauce (1/2 bottle); 4 cups cooked shredded chicken or 1 1/2 to 2 lbs. raw chicken. Skillet Method: When using cooked shredded chicken, combine sauce with chicken and mix thoroughly. Simmer on medium/low heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. It's ready to serve when heated through. When using raw chicken, pre-cook raw chicken in a pot covering with 1 inch of water and no seasoning. When chicken is fully cooked 8-16 minutes and reaches 165 degrees F, shred and proceed with skillet method. You can also use the slow cooker method, (shown below), when using raw chicken. Slow Cooker Method: Place raw chicken pieces in slow cooker. Pour sauce over chicken. Cook on low for 6 hours. When done, shred and enjoy on tacos, burritos or just by itself. Note: If you do not have a slow-cooker, you can slow cook in an oven on 210 degrees F for 8 hours in a covered oven-safe pot or 4-6 hours at 250 degrees F. Follow safe handling practices and cook meat thoroughly. Refrigerate after opening.
