There was no odor when we unpacked it, so the moment we unrolled it, we placed it on our living room and it was ready to use. The striking geometric diamond pattern elevates the overall beauty of the living room and enhances the overall esthetics of our home. The recommended caring requires to do spot cleaning on the rug only. The back of the rug is made with durable latex cotton so we are anticipating this will last us for many years to come.
