Solid metal construction, can also house a votive!
Nowadays it is a gamble to order things so I had low expectations when I ordered. When they showed up I found that they are full metal construction and the solar/light piece is easily removable to allow for use as a votive holder.I immediately ordered another set, and I recommend getting these.

I have the lanterns in my garden and they accentuate my current theme un, moon, and stars? So far, so good! They've been outside for about a month and they've held up under storms and heat and everything else. Light is nice and bright while still being warm and unobtrusive. Love the design it casts. And they're good looking to boot, so you don't mind looking at them during the day. Very satisfied with these so far!
