Swiss metal band Maxxwell took quite some time before releasing this 2014 album to the public. The title is predestination - the band has made a quot;clean sweepquot; & almost start from scratch again. With new lead singer Gilberto Meléndez, Maxxwell are definitely strikin' new paths. The original Maxxwell-sound has been refined and beefed-up but it still not misses it's usual trademarks. Replacing the lead singer can either trigger or paralyze a band. It's very obvious that with Gilberto Meléndez, this album shoots from the hip very easily, with massive guitar power and with a voice that cannot be beaten when it comes to catchiness and the wealth of variety.
